Saint Vincent Archabbey at a Glance:
Nearly 175 monks help create a community at Saint
Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. In response to the gentle
yet persistent call of God, these men live in the Benedictine spirit, ora et labora, pray and work.
They are priests, teachers, writers, psychologists, attorneys,
musicians, electricians, artists, firemen, gardeners, and
administrators, serving God in a variety of ways. The Benedictines of Saint Vincent integrate a life of ongoing prayer
with diverse ministerial roles.
Much apostolic work occurs at Saint Vincent College, Seminary and
Parish; however, the mission also extends to parishes and foundations
in four states and foreign countries. Most importantly, wherever they
serve, the monks strive to build a Christ centered community where all
can come and listen to the voice of the Master!
If you are interested in living out your baptismal commitment to Christ
