West Virginia University Campus Ministry

The Benedictine Monks of St. Vincent Archabbey run St. John University Parish, located on the Campus of West Virginia University.  The central mission of our Monks is to minister to the University Community, which draws people seeking truth and healing from all over the city, state, country and world.  

For those preparing to join the Church, Campus Ministry provides the opportunity to learn about the faith in the company of a warm and supportive community through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. In addition, Catholics discerning a religious vocation have the support and guidance of ordained clergy and professional staff.
